Yash, a Newcastle born all rounder, is a dangerous player with bat and ball in hand. He joined Yorkshire on a rookie contract ahead of the 2023 summer after proving his talent in the previous season for Durham University, in which he is studying biology and chemistry.
He plays his club cricket for Hartlepool in the North Yorkshire South Durham Premier League and began his county journey for Yorkshire at Under-14s level before progressing through the age-groups and Academy.
He has impressed this year for Yorkshire’s 2nd team with consistent scores with the bat including 74 against Lancs 2nd XI and 69 against Notts 2nd XI. His bowling figures have been as impressive showing a constant low economy and picking up key wickets across all matches.
