Liam is a fast bowler who made his List A debut with Leicestershire in 2015. He moved to Lancashire for the 2018 season and made his First Class debut in 2019 against his former County. He also made his Blast T20 debut in 2019. He now plays for Staffordshire CCC.

When away from the field,Liam likes to maintain a healthy lifestyle by regularly going to the gym and finding new ingredients with which to create pescaterian friendly meals . He is a keen cook and enjoys eating a variety of foods and flavours. In the off season, he travels to different parts of the globe to experience history, culture and their cuisine.

When not playing cricket or in the gym, he can be found helping transform bathrooms and properties. Being a qualified plumber, has led to a keen interest in property development which is an interest that is continually growing. Hopefully after cricket this is something that he can progress with as a career.
