A tough and courageous player, Lachlan Johnson is the son of three-time Brisbane premiership defender Chris, who shares his father’s notoriously competitive spirit.
Lachlan grew up in his early years in Queensland before moving to Victoria with his parents and three siblings. Growing up with in heavily influenced AFL household, Lachlan attended Scotch College in Melbourne where he completed his VCE.
in 2019, Lachie was drafted with Pick 63 in the AFL National Draft. He was eligible for father-son selection to Brisbane, however was also a member of Essendon’s Next Generation Academy. Away from the footy field, Lachlan enjoys camping, fishing and outdoor activities.
