Jarrod is rapidly emerging as one of the premier midfielders in the competition. His competitiveness and leadership both on and off the field make him a much loved team mate and client.
Jarrod grew up in Western Victoria in the town of Horsham with his two brothers Joel and Tom. Having always stood out throughout his junior football for the Horsham Saints, Jarrod continued to excel and develop when he was invited to the Greater Western Victoria Rebels and then Vic Country.
Jarrod made a significant impact at the Rebels and also Vic Country before being drafted by the Brisbane Lions with the 17th pick in the 2016 NAB AFL Draft. Since he has arrived at the club he has continued to have an impact seeing them rise from a bottom eight team to a genuine premiership contender.
Jarrod is a heavily involved ambassador for ‘Breast Cancer Network Australia’ after the passing of his mother Jedda in 2013. In 2018 Jarrod, his brothers and two childhood friends conducted an event in memory of their loving mother ‘Berry boys and brothers buzz cut for breast cancer’. The event was held in his hometown of Horsham which saw Coach Chris Fagan and teammates attend the event.
