Craig is a right-hand fast medium bowler and handy lower order batsman. He made made his first-class debut for Gloucestershire against Northamptonshire in May 2011, aged just 16. Two years later, he took 43 wickets as a key part of Gloucestershire’s attack.
Craig’s performance in the 2015 Championship earned him a place in the EPP fast-bowling camp and put him on the shortlist as the PCA’s Breakthrough Player. In 2016, he continued to flourish and took his first hat-trick in a Gloucestershire win over Essex at the Cheltenham Festival.
Craig moved from Gloucestershire to Warwickshire at the end of the 2018 season and when he left Gloucestershire he had taken 255 first-class wickets at 26.68.
Off the field, Craig enjoys spending time with family enjoying good food, playing golf or watching football and hoping for good returns in Fantasy Premier League! Sport or an active lifestyle has always been important to him, so provided there’s no typical UK rain, a long walk on the weekend is a regular activity!
