Colin is a former South African Under 19 cricketer who enjoyed a solid domestic career with Eastern Province and the Warriors including topping the runs charts in the 2016/17 Sunfoil Series. Ahead of the 2017 season Colin made the most of his EU passport and signed with Leicestershire as a Kolpak player. In the 2019 T20 Blast, Colin took the best figures ever recorded in T20 cricket with 7/18. In June 2019 he qualified to play International cricket with the Netherlands and made his T20I debut with them in October 2019, going on to put in some strong performances for them in the 2022 t20 World Cup. He has played in The Hundred for Manchester Originals and also in the Bangladesh Premier League.
