Jafer is an exciting young leg-spinner who spins the ball both ways and bowls at a quick pace, drawing comparison with Rashid Khan. Jafer was recommended to Yorkshire Cricket Club by Joe Root and has come through the South Asian Cricket Academy. He is also at Loughborough University.
