A dual passport holder, Brooke was named in the Australian U19 World Cup squad in 2016. In 2017, Brooke decided to move to England to pursue his professional dream. He took up a Summer contract with Lancashire in 2017 and he made his First Class debut in 2018. In 2020 he was loaned to Derby for the season where he made an impact for them in the T20 competition ending up not out in all 3 of his innings and being tidy with the gloves. A permanent move followed.
Brooke moved to Australia with his family when he was 7 and first went back to England when he was 18 to play cricket. All of his wider family apart from his parents and his brother still all live in England.
Growing up in Australia, Brooke learnt to love going to the beach and has developed a passion for coaching and helping the next generation of players reach their potential.
