He made his debut for Warwickshire in the 2017 County Championship, his List A debut for Warwickshire against the West Indies A team in 2018 and his T20 debut in the 2018 Blast.

Over the last decade Alex has developed a huge passion for angling away from the game. He takes every opportunity to enjoy the peace and tranquillity that nature provides on its banks. When he is not angling, he loves to spend time with his partner Megan and their wire haired dachshunds, where two recently became four. Over the last few months Alex been looking into furthering his professional development and he has enrolled on to the ECB Level II coaching course, providing an avenue in which he can contribute to the grass roots development of the game.
