The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) wanted the event to be unique, to differentiate itself from the rest of the Copa América. They created a new look and feel for the tournament and wanted to use LED perimeter systems for the first time in a COPA AMERICA and in a CONMEBOL event.
It was approximately 3 months from the moment the contract was signed with the LOC and DATISA until the day everything was dismantled in the stadiums.
We moved 550 m of 12mm LED perimeter systems from Europe to South America. For this we used a VIK with DHL (sponsor of the Cup). It was done via flying.
We developed an Event Signage Matrix (ESM): a system to inventory, budget and categorize all décor elements for each venue. We produced locally all graphics and signage required. There was a total of 120 people between technicians, installation assistants, and personnel in charge of organizing the project.
TGI Sport completely turn-keyed the entire project. We delivered timely 26 games in 9 venues over a 30-day period.
